Very much so.

Bah. Wales lost in the rugby on the cusp of their tenth successive Six Nations triumph. The first back-to-back Grand Slams for a hundred years is also not gonna happen. A typically contrary French side did the damage. Oh well, here's hoping Spurs can repeat the heroics of last year and win the Carling Cup final against much-fancied opposition tomorrow...

The mornings are getting lighter now. Finally. Nearly all of last weekend's snow has melted away and the sun is shining.

My tip for the top pop-pickers - Boy Story II...Touch you where I shouldn't (your private parts) Ha ha ha ha ha

Is it just me or is Adore Smashing Pumpkins' finest album...? Maybe. Ahem.

Note to self: Wear more stripes. We like stripes. Yes we do. Very much so.

You wouldn't like me when I'm angry...

Home again. To loads and loads of snow. Woohoo!

Sadly this morning it all seems to be melting away in zero degrees and bright sunshine. Bo-ring.

Driving home was a little bit of a nightmare...snowstorms pretty much all the way, people driving stupidly slowly and the kids conducting their own Experiment IV in the back seat. Bah...

Still, I'm back. In bläck. Or something.

Parma Violets

The last morning. The skis have been returned. A good few hours' drive back to Göteborg to look forward to.
Hope there's some snow waiting for me there too. I just can't get enough, apparently.
The premier league fixtures begin again now after a couple of weeks of international friendlies and European games. By the looks of it spurs will only have one more match in Europe anyway. Time to concentrate on the league. About time too, haha.
A lovely week but it's always nice to come home.

Space Dust

Snow. Lots of it. Lovely snow.
King of the hill.
My legs hurt. A little. Ski boots the size of my feet weigh approximately 214 kilos. That's about as much as a fat baby dinosaur weighs. I'm a doctor, so I know all about that sort of stuff.
Today was a nice day.
And relax...

Splicer

A beautiful sunshine-y day. Many degrees below. 15 or more. -21 when I woke up. My cheeks are a rosy red colour. The 'upstairs' ones I'm referring to of course. Nice. As are my downstairs cheeks. Nice, that is Very nice indeed, if I do say so myself. And I do.
Getting a little more adventurous every day on the slopes. Actually it's more my ability that holds me back - not my lack of adventure, haha.
Après-ski is a wonderful thing. Drinking on a school night. Ah...

Cola Cubes

Ahhh...relaxing on the sofa after a day out on the slopes. Man. 13 degrees below and a little cloudy today. Snow falling. Too cold to snow? My arse.
Completely knackered. If only I could stop eating and drinking long enough to go to bed.
I'm guessing there'll still be some snow left tomorrow heh heh. Back at it. I'm so Swedish it HURTS.
Nighty night. Until the next time.

Bronco Busters

Today I woke to a temperature of 13 below zero and bright sunshine. Getting into a pair of skis is just like riding a bike I've been told. It's been nearly ten years since I last attempted it, so I suppose I'm not that much worse than I was the first time. Which isn't actually saying that much, mohaha.
Wales are on course for their third Grand Slam in four years . It's like I've woken up and been transported back to the seventies, clart.
It's a Sunday evening and I'm drinking wine after a day outdoors. Najs säger jag.
Although I miss work. Grin.

Cherry Lips

Today I nearly bought the farm.
It's been an I-don't-know-how-many (about six) hour drive to this little cabin in the wilds of northern Sverige. Tootling along quite happily about four and a half hours in I spotted what I first took to be a horse trotting out of the trees. It panicked and made a few quick steps towards the road whereupon I jammed on the brakes and screamed. In a manly way of course. Ahem. A close thing...could have reached out of the window and touched the feller. Somebody out there likes me maybe.
It's quite snowy and about twelve degrees below here. Bring it on.
Come on Wales in the rugby.
Happy Valentine's day.

Quiet fills the room and your love flows through me

Though I lie here so still...I burn for you

0-0. To Tottenham. Bah. The game was there for the taking, after the Gooners being reduced to 10 "men". Still, I suppose I'd have settled for a point before the match. Wales looked awesome (in patches) in the rugby too, so all-in-all, today was a good day.

It's gonna snow tonight. I feel it in my bone. Bones. Whatever.

Now that I have found you...

...in the cool of your evening smile

Today I woke to a new layer of snow after yesterday's drab greyness. My optimism for the day's sporting events - the Mighty Tottenham Hotspur v Arsenal (and Wales v Scotland in the Six Nations) - knows no bounds. I'll let you know how that's working for me in a few hours, ha ha.

The new ink is healing and fading nicely. Stripes are the new black. The heavens are blue and speckled with fluffy, white clouds.

I would go out tonight...

but I haven't got a stitch to wear...

Ha ha ha. Vive La Moz! A fine figure of a man and no mistake.

Talking of which, today I consumed my first semla of the new season. Mmmmm. I think number two will be right behind it.

This week it's gonna snow properly at last. So I hear.

Is Robbie Keane on his way back to Spurs? I surely hope so. I'd welcome him back with open arms..he'd be the third old boy returning to the Lane in as many weeks if that were the case. Come on!

You won't admit to it...

...it makes no sense

Today dawned a beautiful, bright, sunshiney Sunday. A couple of degrees below zero and all is right in the world.

Now if only crappy Tottenham hadn't come back from two goals down only to still lose in the dying embers of the match yesterday. Against crappy Bolton too. How is it that almost every goal Bolton ever score comes from a set-piece and a goalmouth scramble? With a Kevin Davies push and shove in the build-up. Fat bastard. Frustrating.

It's nice to think that Spring isn't too far away now. Love is in the air, everywhere I look around. Outdoors, sunshine, a bit more daylight. I think I need all of these things. I also need a navy blue cardigan, I've decided.

This week I got another tattoo.
