He gets intimidated by the dirty pigeons...

...they love a bit of it...

the birthday boy sits and contemplates life as a seven-year-old. Winter feels a little closer every day. The rainy season will soon be upon us. wales have tumbled out of the world cup. No great suprise after recent form but disappointing nonetheless. Still a bit tired after friday night's exertions and joel's bowling party yesterday, heh heh. I won't ever go drinking again. Until the next time...

Alarm clocks press-gang me back to life...

...the queen of snooze is rising...

today joel is 7. Seems like a hell of a lot of things have happened since my beautiful boy first made his entrance into this world just before 7 o'clock in the morning that day. In that slightly grotty hospital in leeds with all the smokers hanging outside the doors puffing away. And every day with him is still a blessing. Although i need reminding of that sometimes when he's impossible to wake up first thing of a school morning, heh heh.

I lost my social skills a while ago...

...but now i feel them coming back...

The Special One is no more. A nation grieves. Not. As long as mr jol doesn't go the same way. Disgraceful the way he's been treated in the press. I surely hope he's not hounded out of his job. Having said that it doesn't look good. Bah. Bioshock continues to enthrall me. Looking forward to condemned 2 too. Ahem. The garden's looking a bit better. Just need to sow some grass now before the winter arrives. Let's hope we get a proper one this year. Of course it will mean the end for the sunflower...

This is the pipe you cannot smoke...

...this is the beast that you must stroke...

a beautiful sunny autumnal morning and all is well with the world. A bottom of the table clash looms for my boys in the football today against the not-so-mighty-right-now-either Bolton.
Gulp.
Facebook, eh? Still not really sure i get it but it's easy to waste time on it. I'm off to bite some chump.

Feed me, come on and feed me...

...cos everybody loves a chubby dude...

time keeps ticking i'm taking a licking. The boys have fallen by the wayside here. Some of the bigger boys are still going. Like the clappers. Or something. Can't quite recall the name of the cocktail we're supposed to be making but what the hey? Watching some weird film called little man. Wtf!?! Dude you went too far...

There's more to life than books you know...

...but not much more...

another friday night. Endless rain. The rugby is nearing crunch time. Now it's cocktail time. All well and good except when your host's idea of a cocktail is to mix beer and red wine, heh heh. Cheers. See you on the other side.

You know i'm always moaning...

...but you jump-start my serotonin...

Wooh! Check out my scary hot chocolate drink...spooky eller hur?
Despite being a Monday, today has been remarkably ok. Even the weather is bright and sunny. We'll draw a veil over the weekend's sporting non-events before my good mood evaporates, though, eh? My previous post, as half-expected, seems ludicrously optimistic.
This evening I shall be mostly checking out the new David Duchovny series - "Californication".

The trick is...

...getting you to think that all this was your idea...

So it's another friday night after a gruelling week at the coal face.
At the moment at least there's every reason to hope that both wales (in the rugby) and tottenham might get results. We'll see how long that lasts, heh heh.
Sleepy.
Outside is beautiful. Windy and cool. Much like myself, chortle.
Today was a nice day.

Bless you bless you all of you pretty boys...

...village and city boys by the quayside...

on the way back from stockholm now. Dave sylvian rocked. In his own little way. He played 2 encores. And even smiled. Repeatedly. I'd never seen that before. He was quite winsome, despite his dreadful pointy white shoes. I also enjoyed my lonely pre-match meal at Berns...a lovely box of asian delights.
That sounds a bit rude doesn't it? Ahem.

Woke up in my clothes again this morning...

...don't know exactly where i am...

it's been a bit of a hectic week. As i sit here a couple of hours before seeing david sylvian in stockholm, after my large weekend i'm suddenly feeling a little, erm, small. Yesterday spencer had his 2nd birthday. Tomorrow i will teach him algebra. Wonder what this will look like when i publish it to the internet of radness. Ok. Here goes...
